We Launch Our First Browser-Based Acoustic AI Cough Checker with Bayer

We have launched our first browser-based acoustic AI cough checker in partnership with Bayer. Through this collaboration, our CE-certified medical software, ResGuard Med, powers a new online cough assessment tool in Germany.
The browser-based cough checker, available via Bayer’s Phytohustil platform, enables users to record and analyse their cough directly in the browser. By distinguishing between dry and productive cough — a key factor in selecting appropriate treatment — the tool supports more informed self-assessment.
Users record a short, approximately five-second audio sample of their cough. ResGuard Med then analyses cough characteristics and intensity to assess the likelihood of dry versus productive cough.
The cough checker is accessible without prior registration and ensures user privacy through anonymous data processing. Since its launch at the end of January 2026, the solution has reached over four million users in Germany.
We offer ResGuard Med as a Software Development Kit (SDK), enabling seamless integration into third-party digital platforms and hardware solutions. The browser-based cough assessment deployed with Bayer represents one of several application areas of our acoustic AI technology.
