Resmonics AG built the myCough app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by Resmonics AG at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
Information Collection and Use
For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain information.
We are not asking you to provide any personal identifier, you can remain anonymous while using the app.
The following data is not shared with us: Audio recordings (stored temporally on your device, necessary to provide the service).

Answers given in questionnaires
Usage data on how you use the app
Your cough timeline (details of your monitored sessions)
Information about your device (for example, version of operating system and device type) and operating system
Only aggregated or fully anonymized data may be shared with third parties.
Once you install myCough, the app generates a unique user ID (“App-ID”). This ID can be used to communicate with us, for example if you request to delete any data shared with us. If you want to protect your anonymity and privacy, we recommend you to not contact us using your personal e-mail account.
Please note that questionnaires hosted by a third party, which are linked in the app (for example, a Limesurvey survey), may contain input fields for texts. If you provide your contact details or other Personal Information in the questionnaire, this information will be shared with us. It is your responsibility to protect your anonymity and privacy if you wish to do so.
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.
This Service does not use “cookies”. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
