myCough - Privacy Policy

Resmonics AG built the myCough app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by Resmonics AG at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

Only aggregated or fully anonymized data may be shared with third parties.

Once you install myCough, the app generates a unique user ID (“App-ID”). This ID can be used to communicate with us, for example, if you request to delete any data shared with us. If you want to protect your anonymity and privacy, we recommend that you not contact us using your personal e-mail account.

Please note that questionnaires hosted by a third party, which are linked in the app (for example, a Limesurvey survey), may contain input fields for texts. If you provide your contact details or other Personal Information in the questionnaire, this information will be shared with us. It is your responsibility to protect your anonymity and privacy if you wish to do so.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app, we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

At Resmonics, sharing your data is a fundamental part of the myCough's functionality. It enables us to continuously improve our product and tailor it to better suit your needs. However, we understand and respect your decision if you choose to stop sharing your data with us.

Please be aware that choosing to stop sharing your data with us is an irreversible process. Once initiated, we will delete all data stored on your device and reset the app. This action will result in the loss of any existing data you have within the app.

Confirmation of Deletion: We will process your request and confirm once all your data has been successfully deleted from our records.
