1.2. Audio Recordings: The App collects short segments (approximately 650ms) of audio recordings. These recordings are triggered when the App detects sounds that it determines to be respiratory symptoms, such as coughing. This determination is made by a proprietary acoustic artificial intelligence, parts of which are a CE-certified software as a medical device in Europe.
1.3. App Usage Data: The App collects app usage data, including but not limited to measurement results about a person's cough and details about recorded monitoring sessions (e.g., start of session, end of session, number of coughs, timestamp of coughs, time zone of recordings, cough assessments done by our artificial intelligence, errors occurred during monitoring, time zone of recordings).
Use of Collected Information

2.2. Audio Recordings: The audio recordings collected by the App are used for the purpose of analyzing respiratory symptoms, identifying potential health conditions, improving existing algorithms, and developing novel algorithms. These recordings may be processed using automated algorithms to provide insights and suggestions related to respiratory health. The audio recordings are pseudonymized to ensure individual privacy and confidentiality. Please note that we only have access to de-identified and coded data.
2.3. App Usage Data: Usage data collected by the App are used for the purpose of analyzing respiratory symptoms, identifying potential health conditions, improving existing algorithms, and developing novel algorithms. These data may be processed using automated algorithms to provide insights and suggestions related to respiratory health. The data are pseudonymized to ensure individual privacy and confidentiality. Please note that we only have access to de-identified and coded data.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
3.1. We may share your personal information and audio recordings with third parties under the following circumstances:
3.1.1. With your explicit consent;
3.1.2. To comply with legal obligations, such as responding to lawful requests from government authorities;

However, please note that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5.1. The App and Services may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services that are not owned or controlled by us. For example, data collected by the App is uploaded to a server hosted by Amazon Web Services. This Policy does not apply to those third-party platforms, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices.
